The program enables successful Trade Leaders to be compensated for what they do best – trade – without the tedious effort of recruiting customers, managing money and reporting results.What is the process for becoming a Trade Leader?
Start by filling in and submitting your Trade Leaders application. A member of the Currensee Trade Leaders Management Team will contact you and you’ll begin the review process. We’ll send you an overview of the steps you’ll need to complete and you can read more about the Currensee Trade Leaders Due Diligence Process to familiarize yourself with how we analyze and select new Trade Leaders. The first step will be to open your Forex brokerage account to your Currensee account. We will walk you through all of these steps after we receive your application.
How does someone qualify to be a Trade Leader?
We are looking for Forex traders with a minimum of one year 10% per annum ROI in a Forex account, a consistent track record of positive performance and a history of and commitment to trading Forex professionally. Once you have your Forex account linked to your Currensee account, you’ll need to have six months of net positive performance tracked in the account, including historical trading. Currensee regularly reviews the Trade Leader candidates and, based on their performance, the successful traders will be accepted to be Trade Leaders. After you’ve been approved to be a Trade Leader, other traders can begin to follow you and you begin to receive compensation.
How do I get paid?
As a Trade Leader you get paid for successful trading. The way the payment structure works is that you'll receive a success fee each month of 15% of the profits that you generate for the accounts of the people that follow you, based on a high watermark. Let’s say you generate $100,000 for the accounts of the people that invest in you in the first month. That means you get paid $15,000.
Why should I be a Trade Leader?
Trade Leaders benefit from doing what they do best – trading – and not having to recruit new capital, execute positions investor by investor, manage the book, interact with investors or change their existing business. Trade Leaders have the opportunity to create an incremental and 100% net new revenue stream.
Do I need to recruit followers?
No, this is Currensee’s responsibility. Currensee makes it easy for investors to find and follow your trades. Once you’re approved and your account is up and running, you will be designated as a Trade Leader and investors will be able to see your performance and track record and can choose to follow you at any time. As a Trade Leader, you are prominently featured on the Currensee homepage via the Currensee Leaderboard and investors can easily view your profile, performance history and risk management practices in order to make an informed decision.
What’s the cost to be a Trade Leader?
The Trade Leader program is an opportunity for great Forex traders to make money. There is no cost to join the program or to maintain your membership. All you have to do is to consistently trade successfully and responsibly manage risk.
What types of traders qualify to be a Trade Leader?
CTAs, money managers and fund managers with a history of positive performance and strong risk management are welcome to become candidates the Trade Leaders program.
Can I use a demo account?
Currensee does not accept demo accounts. Trade Leaders must have live accounts with real money and actual performance history (no backtesting allowed). Demo accounts are not necessarily representative of real world trading experiences with respect to spreads and trade fills.
