Connecting with Forex traders

The power of Currensee comes from connecting and collaborating with like-minded traders. There are several different ways to find and invite friends to become your Trading Friends.  Keep in mind that your Trading Friends are a group of traders that you can trade and collaborate with. Your Trading Friends can see your trades and you can see their trades in your Position Table on your Currensee dashboard.  You'll also be able to chat with your Trading Friends about the detailed strategies you are using to make your trading decisions and see what they're doing in the platform via the Friends Feed.

What are Trading Friends?
Trading Friends are a group of traders who you can share and collaborate with. It's not like joining a football team, or being drafted by the Red Sox, each Currensee member forms his or her own personal group of Trading Friends - think of it as your Trading Team.

Why add traders to be Trading Friends?
The more traders that you add as Trading Friends, the more insight you'll gain into what individual traders are doing and the positions they're opening. You'll also be able to chat and post to the positions to discuss the detailed strategies being used to make trading decisions.

How do I add traders as Trading Friends?
When you joined Currensee maybe you didn't know anyone else who trades Forex, but that doesn't mean you can't meet new people who trade Forex! To find traders to become Trading Friends, start by going to the Community page and search for other Currensee traders to connect to. Use filters to find traders that best match the way you trade.  You can filter by approach, technique, experience, currency pairs, and a trading region

To invite a trader to become a Trading Friend, simply click on the “invite” button. If you’d like to view a trader’s profile, simply click on the trader’s name.  You’ll be able to see profile detail as well as trading performance if the trader has decided to share this with the community.

Once your invitation has been accepted, the trader will be added to your list of Trading Friends and you'll begin to see their activity in your Friends Feed and Position Table.

How and why will others choose me as a Trading Friends
Others will locate you in the Community section, just as you find others.  Keep in mind that the more you include in your Profile - telling the community about you, your trading style and your trading ideas - the easier it will be for other traders to get to know you and invite you to their team.
