Dave Lemont, CEO

Dave Lemont, CEODave is a serially successful CEO... but he’s no currency trader. He may not know the ins and outs of the Fibonacci method or the hottest currency pair, but when it comes to building winning products and go-to-market strategies, he’s the man. As El Capitan, Dave charts the Currensee course and brings his broad executive expertise to the team.

Prior to Currensee, Dave was the CEO of AppIQ, the leader in storage management software, which was acquired by HP. Investors were happy with a 6x return, $30M run rate and over 300 enterprise customers in just two years. Not bad.

Before AppIQ, Dave was CEO of Revit Technology, where he led the company through its successful 2002 acquisition by Autodesk, the world’s leading design software and digital content company. Earlier, Dave was COO at Concentra Corporation, the leading provider of CRM solutions for product configuration, where he led them to an IPO in 1996 and successful sale to Oracle in 2008.

Dave started his career in the copier business. We’re talking door-to-door copier sales in mid-town Manhattan. Needless to say, he knows a thing or two about liquid toner, the best Jewish delis between 6th Avenue and 57th Street and how to load a copier into a New York taxi-cab. Now those are some skills for life.

Dave is a graduate of Bucknell University. He lives in Gloucester and is an avid boater, jazz aficionado and enjoys a well-poured Bacardi and diet Coke.
