Asaf Yigal, Co-Founder and VP of Product

Asaf Yigal, Co-Founder & VP of Product DevelopmentWhen he’s not building the product, he’s using it. Asaf is a software engineer-turned-Forex trader and plays the role of business strategist, product architect and people officer. He is a man with a vision who has the unique ability to think and execute. He’s been around the block and brings 15 years of technical development experience to us at Currensee.

Prior to co-founding Currensee, Asaf was a member of the founding tech team at Onaro, which was acquired by NetApp for $130M. At Onaro, Asaf wore a bunch of different hats. He did everything from party-planning the company outings to setting the overall product architecture. How's that for versatile? He was responsible for releasing the early versions of the product and building out the professional services practice in the company. Now we know where he got his patience and polite phone skills.

Previously, Asaf was Project Manager for an algorithmic research project in the Israeli Navy, which comes in handy when trying to explain the Fibonacci method to Dave. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Technion Israel Institute of Technology and enjoys good a Scotch, rolls his own sushi and lives in Boston.
